The
Special Inspector General of Police Anti robbery Squad attached to
prominent armed robbers hunter, Alhaji Ali Kwara, yesterday recovered
two AK 47 riffles and 126 live ammunition from suspected armed robbers
in Adamawa State.

Speaking
with newsmen yesterday in Bauchi, Ali Kwara said, “We pursued a gang of
armed robbers terrorizing people in the North-eastern part of the
country from Bauchi through Gombe to Adamawa State, where they engaged
us in a gun battle. When they realized that we were about to defeat
them, they abandoned two Ak 47 riffles, 126 rounds of life ammunition,
N50,000 cash and their vehicle, and ran away”.
Ali kwara reiterated the team’s commitment towards riding the region of crime.
