PHOTOS: Tanker Explosion Causes Panic In Abuja





Friday evening tanker explosion in Asokoro area of Abuja resulted in panic among the locals, who thought it was another attack launched on the country capital.






According to Sahara Reporters, the accident occurred at about 8.15pm: during the discharging the tanker suddenly ignited as a result of the electric spark. The fire quickly spread to the bus parked nearby.





Upon quick arrival at the scene, military condoned off the station while the firefighters were extinguishing the fire.





It would be recalled that the bloody bombing of Abuja which occurred on Monday, April 14, left more than 70 people dead and hundreds injured. This attack has become the direst in the history of Nigerian capital.
